Hi, I'm Lexie! I'm a freelance filmmaker, photographer and video editor based in Somerset West, South Africa. I have a Master's degree in Film and Television (cum laude), over a decade of industry experience, and a genuine love for creating things that tell a good story.

Variety is the spice of life, and that's reflected in the work I do. One day I might be filming a documentary, the next photographing a wedding, capturing a growing family, creating lifestyle content for a brand or editing a social media campaign. I love working across different creative industries, meeting new people and finding the little details that make each project unique.

I'm a bit of a one-woman production crew, which means I can take a project from the initial idea through to the finished product. From planning, writing and producing to filming, photography, sound and editing, I'm comfortable rolling up my sleeves and getting involved wherever I'm needed. I'm equally happy working independently or collaborating with a larger creative team.

For international clients looking to create content in South Africa, I can also help bring the production together on the ground. My experience includes helping co-produce shoots for international projects where I can assist with schedules, locations and the practical planning that helps a shoot run smoothly. I'm available for on-location photography and video production throughout South Africa, as well as remote editing and post-production for clients around the world.

Closer to home, I work with businesses, brands, couples and families across Somerset West, the Helderberg, Stellenbosch, Cape Town and the wider Western Cape. Whether it's telling a brand's story, capturing the magic of a wedding, documenting those fleeting family moments or creating engaging content for social media, I bring the same care, curiosity and attention to detail to every project.
